Unlike other countries where you apply to schools individually, you will send in one application and then they will send it to the schools of your choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How it works<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Make an account at<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucas.com\/\"> https:\/\/www.ucas.com\/<\/a>. You will be asked to add:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"has-text-align-justify\">personal details<\/li>\n<li class=\"has-text-align-justify\">contact<\/li>\n<li class=\"has-text-align-justify\">residency,<\/li>\n<li class=\"has-text-align-justify\">education (qualifications and periods of study)<\/li>\n<li class=\"has-text-align-justify\">employment<\/li>\n<li class=\"has-text-align-justify\">nationality details<\/li>\n<li class=\"has-text-align-justify\">supporting information<\/li>\n<li class=\"has-text-align-justify\">English language skills<\/li>\n<li class=\"has-text-align-justify\">finance and funding<\/li>\n<li class=\"has-text-align-justify\">personal statement and references<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For residency put your actual home address, (Barzey, Montserrat W.I MSR1345). International and local have to use UCAS, so don&#8217;t worry about your address.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>For education; UCAS recognises CAPE examinations in place of the A level exams taken in England.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>For nationality; if you are from a British Overseas Territory, you can put either British or British Overseas Territory Citizen (B.O.T.C)<\/li>\n<li>Finance; if you plan on using student finance, put that information even if it hasn&#8217;t be confirmed yet. Student Finance Applications don&#8217;t open until February and applications for uni open during the summer and close by January.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-359\" style=\"font-weight: inherit;\" src=\"http:\/\/caribstudents.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/ucas-details-1-1.png?w=1024\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-360\" src=\"http:\/\/caribstudents.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/personal-statement-and-references-1-1.png?w=834\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Clearing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Clearing is how universities and colleges fill any places they still have available in their courses.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">From 5 July \u2013 18 October, you can apply for a course using Clearing if you\u2019re not already holding an offer from a university\u00a0or college, and the course still has places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can use Clearing if:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>you\u2019re applying after 30 June<\/li>\n<li>you didn\u2019t receive any offers (or none\u00a0you wanted to accept)<\/li>\n<li>you didn\u2019t meet the conditions of your offers<\/li>\n<li>you&#8217;ve paid the multiple choice application fee of \u00a326.50<\/li>\n<li>you\u2019ve\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucas.com\/undergraduate\/results-confirmation-and-clearing\/what-clearing\/declining-your-firm-place\">declined your firm place<\/a>\u00a0using the \u2018decline my place\u2019 button in your application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">For more information on how to apply check the website: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucas.com\/undergraduate\/results-confirmation-and-clearing\/what-clearing\">https:\/\/www.ucas.com\/undergraduate\/results-confirmation-and-clearing\/what-clearing<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How do I open a UK Student bank account? &#8211; By UCAS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Once you receive your application,\u00a0they create your personal status codes and email them to you. These codes allow a number of banks to confirm your eligibility for their student accounts.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Once your place at uni or college is confirmed, it&#8217;s\u00a0really important to\u00a0remember to take your codes with you when you go to open a student account. This\u00a0will speed up the whole process, by allowing the bank or building society to quickly confirm your status as a future\u00a0student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">The exact documents required may vary from bank to bank, so look on their website or read anything you have been sent before you visit the branch to open the account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">However, normally you will need the following paperwork and its worth taking duplicate copies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your passport<\/li>\n<li>Your student visa (OT nationals do not need a visa)<\/li>\n<li>Proof of address.
